I hope you're all having a restful and enjoyable summer. It was great camping with many of you last week at R-C!
Speaking of R-C, our pack has reserved space at Camp R-C for fall family camping on September 11-13 (that's the week after Labor Day). More details will be forthcoming, but I wanted you to know that the dates before your fall calendars start filling up.
Fall family camping one of my favorite events of the year. R-C is a great location in the cool pines along Christopher Creek, and we'll definitely have plenty of time for hiking, crawdading, etc etc. It's an easy two hour drive from Scottsdale.
Also, please note that overnight camping with your pack or family is now a requirement to earn the Wolf badge, and many of other ranks have new requirements for outdoor activities. This will be a great opportunity for dens to knock out many of the more challenging requirements.
Please mark September 11-13 on your calendar, because you won't want to miss it!
